Combining the Darwin to Alice Express and the 3 Day Rock camping trip:

The Darwin Express is the best way to travel between Alice Springs and Darwin. The 2 day express trip is a fast, affordable way to travel with great photo opportunities along the way. You will visit the Devils Marbles, Mataranka Hot Springs, Edith Falls and stay a night at the famous Daly Waters (included) with a Pub dinner included. Departing Darwin every Wednesday you will arrive in Alice Springs Thursday afternoon.

The 3 Day Rock Trip leaves Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at around 6am and runs over three days. Day one consists of a 6 hour drive to Uluru. You will visit the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta (Olgas) then watch the sunset over Ayers Rock. Day two includes an Uluru sunrise and Ayers Rock base walk together with traditional Aboriginal Cultural Teachings. Next we drive to Kings Canyon to set up camp. Day three includes a Kings Canyon walk and a visit to the Garden of Eden before returning back to Alice. All meals and accommodation are included in this 3 day Uluru tour! IT also includes a FREE camel ride!!!
Included is 1 free night accommodation at Jump Inn Backpackers between tours.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Darwin to Daly Waters

Departs Darwin at around 6am. First stop is the amazing Edith Falls!! Then onto Mataranka Hot Springs stopping along the way to buy lunch at Katherine. Daly Waters Historical Pub is where you will spend a relaxing night, enjoying the free pub dinner and staying in shared motel accommodation.

Day 2 : Daly Waters to Alice Springs

Departs Daly Waters in the morning for the onward journey to Alice Springs stopping at The Devils Marbles and arriving in Alice Springs at around 6pm where you will spend a free night in a dorm at Haven Backpackers.

Day 3 : Uluru

Pick up at 6am - travel to Uluru, stopping along the way at the Camel Farm for your FREE camel ride. After lunch we head to the Cultural Centre for an insight into the flora, fauna and the local Aboriginal people of the Red Centre. We take you on a short guided interpretive walk at the base of Uluru. We then head off to watch the spectacular Uluru sunset while enjoying a glass of bubbly with nibbles. Then it’s back to our camp to enjoy a hearty meal, a hot shower and a night under the stars.

Day 4 : Kata Tjuta & Kings Creek Station

Enjoy an early breakfast before watching the sunrise over Uluru, then it’s off to Kata Tjuta for a walk through the Valley of the Winds. After lunch, we travel to Kings Creek Station viewing the beautiful George Gill Range along the way. Here we enjoy an outback BBQ dinner and laughs around the campfire under the incredible outback sky. Later, get into your swags for another perfect view of the stars.

Day 5 : Kings Canyon

Another early start, after breakfast taking on the spectacular Kings Canyon rim walk. We will visit the North and South walls, The Garden of Eden, as well as the Natural Amphitheatre. After this amazing walk, we hit the road starting the journey back to Alice Springs. We arrive back in Alice late afternoon, where we'll drop you off to your accommodation.
